Phil brook Museum of Art. Formerly the home of oilman Waite Phillips, the Philbrook Museum of Art is an historic villa restored to preserve the grandeur of the 1920s. Nestled in one of Tulsa’s oldest neighborhoods, Philbrook exhibits more than 8,500 works of art, including Italian renaissance art, classical and Oriental pieces, contemporary indoor and outdoor sculptures, and extensive Native American collections.

As one of America’s top 65 art museums, Philbrook’s Italian-style villa is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was featured in the television series “America’s Castles.” Philbrook also features 23 acres of formal and informal gardens bordered by a wide creek. Creek Indian Thomas Gilcrease used oil money to create a world-class art collection, focused on his Native American heritage and love of the American West. Today, Gilcrease Museum houses the world’s most comprehensive collection of fine art, artifacts and archives that tell the story of the Americas, and is the country’s top venue for the preservation of American art and history.

Located 5 minutes of downtown Tulsa, the beautiful museum presents the planet’s most extensive collection of art and artifacts of the American West, and an unparalleled collection of Native American art, artifacts, historical manuscripts, documents and maps. The Museum’s impressive collection features 10,000 paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures by 400 prominent American artists, including Frederic Remington, Charles M. Russell, Thomas Moran and George Catlin.

Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art. Located on the Zarrow Campus of the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, the Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art contains the Southwest's finest collection of Judaica. Priceless objects, some nearly 4,000 years old, are displayed for public viewing. The extraordinary Holocaust Collection emphasizes the experiences of survivors who came to live in Oklahoma, as well as Oklahomans who served in World War II and participated in the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps.
